AT&T workers have begun a three-day strike, accusing the company of failing to make fair proposals during contract negotiations. It is the largest strike in the US since 40,000 Verizon workers walked out last year.

In recent years ?intersectionality? has been the biggest buzz word in progressive circles, liberally sprinkled in activist conferences and social media. Yet few movements have been as long on intersectional talk, and little on action, as the LGBTQ movement. Few events point up this fail more clearly than the impending release from prison this Wednesday of Transgender heroine Chelsea Manning. She is by far the single most important, impactful anti-war activist and whistle-blower that the LGBTQ movement has ever produced.

Boston Common 11:00 am, 13 May 2017 The Antifa demonstrators were assembled at a monument on a hill, the highest point in Boston Common. Leftist were on the monument hill waving red flags and black flags and carrying signs. The hill faced the bandstand were the Alt Right was rallying. The crowd was about 200 people with maybe 40 Black Block activists out front halfway down the hill. The police had a line of about ten cops on the walkway at the bottom of the hill. The police faced the Antifa crowd.
